Our optional Accidental Damage Protection is designed to give you confidence while enjoying your costume rental. For a small fee, you're covered against common accidents that can happen during performances, events, and celebrations.

What's Covered

When you add Accidental Damage Protection to your rental, you won't be charged for:

  • Accidental stains (makeup, food, drinks, dirt)
  • Small tears, rips, or snags
  • Missing buttons, hooks, or minor embellishments
  • Scuffs or minor wear from normal use
  • Minor damage that occurs during regular wear

What's NOT Covered

This protection does not cover:

  • Lost or stolen items
  • Intentional damage or alterations
  • Major cuts or modifications to the garment
  • Damage from extreme negligence or misuse

How It Works

  3. Return the costume or item as normal - no damage fees for covered incidents
  4. We handle the cleaning and repairs

Important Information

  • Non-refundable: The protection fee is non-refundable once your rental is confirmed
  • Optional: This coverage is completely optional but highly recommended for performances and special events
  • Per rental: Protection applies to one piece, per rental period
  • Lost items: If an item is lost or stolen, the full replacement cost will apply regardless of protection coverage

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need this protection? We recommend it! Costumes can easily get stained during performances, especially with stage makeup, food at events, or active dancing. This protection gives you peace of mind.

What happens if I don't purchase protection? Without protection, you'll be responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.  Repair costs vary based on the damage. Any cleaning beyond the basic cleaning included in the rental price will be $10 per hour.

Can I add protection after I've already placed my order? Protection must be added at the time of checkout and cannot be added later.

What if my costume is lost or stolen? Lost or stolen items are not covered by this protection. You'll be charged the full replacement value of the costume.
